Cerence AI (NASDAQ: shares spiked nearly 100% during market action on Friday as the voice artificial intelligence company expanded a collaboration with Nvidia (NASDAQ:).
Cerence announced it plans to advance the capabilities of its large language models, dubbed CaLLM or Cerence Automotive Large Language Model, through Nvidia AI Enterprise. Nvidia’s cloud-native software platform will accelerate the computing power and implement agentic architecture for the models,said.
Cerence develops voice generative AI LLMs for the automobile industry. It reports more than 500M cars shipped utilize its AI voice technology.
“By optimizing the performance of our CaLLM family of language models, we are delivering cost savings and improved performance to our automaker customers, who are running quickly to deploy generative AI-powered solutions to their drivers,” said Nils Schanz, executive vice president of product and technology at Cerence AI.
