Many reported problems accessing Google Search, with 53% citing search issues, 41% facing website glitches, and 6% struggling with account logins. The outage has also impacted users in India, leaving many unable to access essential tools.

YouTube Among the Worst Affected

YouTube appears to be one of the hardest-hit platforms, with Downdetector logging over 3,200 complaints. Users highlighted difficulties with server connections (40%), app functionality (33%), and video streaming (28%). The issues have left users frustrated, especially those relying on YouTube for work, learning, or entertainment.

Disruption Extends to Other Services

Aside from YouTube, Gmail and Google Meet users also reported disruptions. Many found themselves unable to send emails or join video meetings, which caused inconvenience during office hours. Users took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express their frustrations, with hashtags like #GoogleDown and #YouTubeDown trending worldwide.
