PlayStation has been doing it all can to celebrate 30 years in the console industry, not only with the gorgeous PlayStation 5 Pro console modelled after the OG PlayStation.

PlayStation celebrating 30th anniversary with free classic games
  • I’ve always been a champion of the Sly Cooper games, which were overshadowed greatly by the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank.
  • I should really mention that one of those 3D rivals is also being celebrated by PlayStation, as Jak and Daxter drops onto the subscription service, too.
  • It’s a great time to revisit the genre that consoles like the PlayStation 2 really pushed.
  • Some would say that Sony’s second console did great things for 3D platforming with so many available.
  • Now it’s your chance to catch up on these classics, whether you’ve played them before or are new to them.
  • Each of these games are ready to download and play for free right now, all you need is a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription.
  • I’d recommend getting some time with Sly Cooper.

December is almost upon us and with Christmas, The Game Awards and a brand-new selection of games heading to PS Plus, it is set to be a busy month.

However, with previous games having to be removed from the subscription service in order to make way for more, our PlayStation Plus December lineup is already looking a bit dire.

PS Plus subscribers have already had a pretty good month with titles such as Grand Theft Auto VDying Light 2: Stay Human and Like a Dragon: Ishin! being added.

As well as the standard selection, an extra seventeen games were added last week so there is enough to keep us entertained for quite a while.

Which is pretty lucky as Sony is getting ready to remove quite a few epic games as of December.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the games leaving PS Plus next month.
